How to Make Fondant

Introduction
Hi, today I want to make some Marshmallow Fondant. It is so easy process that a child can play with it and it is easier to use than icing.

Ingredient
·       16-18 bags of marshmallow
·       A little amount teaspoon of butter
·       ½ cup powdered or castor sugar
·       2-3 teaspoon of water
·       Food color (any)

Method
·       Wash your hands with water

·       Make your butter liquid and spread a generous amount of it in your table

·       Spread 2/3  sugar over butter

·       Put the whole bag of marshmallow on a mixing bowl

·       Put 2-3 teaspoon of water on it

·        Microwave the water and marshmallows. Place the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, then remove the bowl and stir. Repeat this process until the marshmallows are completely melted. It should take about two and a half minute’s total.

·       Cover your hand with a very generous amount of butter

v Pour the melted marshmallows on top of the sugar on the table.

v Mix the sugar and marshmallow with your hands until it looks and feels like dough. It will be sticky, so add the remaining sugar and continue to knead until you can form a ball.

v Re-grease your hands and your work surface with shortening if the fondant is sticking.

v If the fondant is tearing easily, it is probably too dry. Add water, a 1/2 tablespoon at a time, and continue to knead.

v It should take about eight minutes to get a firm, smooth, elastic ball of fondant that will stretch easily, without tearing.

·       Wrap the fondant in clear plastic wrap.
Place the wrapped fondant in an air-tight container. This way, it will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

·       If you want put one drop of food color to make your fondant looks better
